The Lost Light solves what has been described as "one of the great-unsolved mysteries of American lighthouse history." Called the holy grail of American lighthouse history, the 6,000 pound bronze and glass first-order Fresnel lens from the 1803 Cape Hatteras Lighthouse has been lost for 140 years. On the eve of the Civil War, the apparatus, produced in France of more than 1,000 hand-polished, crown -crystal prisms, was removed from the top of the first Hatteras tower in a desperate act to prevent the beacon from aiding the Union Navy's blockade. The lens was later hidden in a good storehouse in an obscure farming community, 200 miles inland. Throughout the war, the location eluded its former owners and even 28,000 men of Sherman's army. As years passed the magnificent artifact simply vanished into the mists of time. It is a mystery no more. Solved by the author, Kevin Duffus, the story of the Hatteras lens's extraordinary odyssey is an astonishing tale of plot twists, ironies, redemption and dishonor, spanning 200 years of American history.

“Being a candle is not easy: in order to give light, one must first burn.” — Rumi Every child in the world deserves a great childhood, right? Although Diya did have a childhood, it wasn’t really the one we imagine for our children. Growing up in an Indian household, she was taught from a young age that family was everything and it did not matter if they were your cousins—they were still like your own siblings. But as Diya was growing up, she found this was not the case, and the more she ignored everything around her, the more perplexed she became about herself and who she was. We all have tough times in our lives, and life at times can be a confusing roller coaster, but it is a matter of knowing who we are from within and trusting the true voice within us all. Diya is now finding this out, and she hopes to be an inspiration for many others, just as she was inspired and encouraged to write her story and share it with others. This is based on a true story. All characters are real, but for privacy, all names have been changed.

2015 Reprint of the 1940 edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Highly influenced by the work of Gerald Massey and Godfrey Higgins, Kuhn contended that the Bible derived its origins from other Pagan religions and much of Christian history was pre-extant as Egyptian mythology. He also proposed that the Bible was symbolic and did not depict real events, and argued that the leaders of the church started to misinterpret the bible at the end of the third century. Many authors including Tom Harpur and John G. Jackson were influenced by the works of Kuhn. Harpur even dedicated his best-selling 2004 book, "The Pagan Christ" to Kuhn, calling him "a man of immense learning and even greater courage" and "one of the single greatest geniuses of the twentieth century" [who] "towers above all others of recent memory in intellect and his understanding of the world's religions." Harpur notes that Kuhn gave nearly 2,000 public lectures which were lengthy, detailed and well-attended, but suggests that Kuhn's self-publishing may have resulted in a lack of attention to his work.

Finally presented in one little volume; a manual easily understood and written with much prayer and consideration for all people everywhere. This little book is sure to open up new insights into the foundations of the new world, exposing the utter futility of ever expecting the kingdom of God to appear upon this planet, without the effort of each one of us transforming our very thought patterns and re-thinking many of the sacred misconceptions we have all cherished and held dear for so long. Prepare to experience a complete revolution within your own being, as we build together the long awaited kingdom of God right within our own mind-body-temple, looking for new heavens and a whole new earth. This little volume is the result of many years of true hunger and an unquenchable desire to know the one and only true God. It is with great delight that I now send this beautiful message of love and light forth into the world on the wings of divine love and true heart longing to see all people everywhere experience true love for God, self and neighbor as one’s own self. Together may we all turn towards the light within our own beings, loving and honoring all humans as the true sons and daughters of God that each one truly is and rebuild the ancient foundations of human civilization according to the original pattern, a timely addition to the vast stream of new information pouring into human consciousness today.

THE REALITY OF INNATE HUMAN WISDOM-MAKING In this sensitive work, Ingo Swann once more opens up the continuing story of the fuller extent of human consciousness, which, by many accounts, is amazing and intriguing. These accounts are found in all cultures ranging from ancient to contemporary, and the sum of them more than suggests that humans plus their innate consciousness are designed for a much richer and astonishing existence than what most societal programs encourage or permit. The nexus, or connected group, of the discussions in this book turns on only two interactive questions: Is human consciousness designed for self-destruction? OR Is it designed to continuously sustain its own pro-survival into futurity? There are many categories within human consciousness that work to sustain pro-survival. But all of them can be affiliated with one central heading: WISDOM, without which our species could not have survived anything, even itself.
